Dull moments never get in my way, because I’ll not let them.

My biggest achievement is being a parent to wonderful children. I’m an educator and therefore a life-long learner. Often seized by a malady called wanderlust, I travel. I am curious about partaking and sharing rich cultural experiences, learning different languages and tongues.

I try to throw light on heroes sung and unsung. They inspire me, and it’s my fervent hope that by writing about them I will inspire others. 

I experiment with cuisine, gardening, fashion. I enjoy music of any genre or language, cinema, the theater, poetry among several things. Making things and building structures thrill me. I never fear challenges. I can roll my sleeves and try to resolve issues to the best of my ability.  I resonate to spirituality, for it’s that important thread holding sentient and insentient beings like pearls on a necklace. 

While learning is my passion, I find absolute joy in sharing. This site is a dedication to life’s teachers and to my readers.

Discoveries small or big thrill me. It could be stumbling into a bookshop’s bathroom and finding walls papered with bookmarks. The delight is not different when I spot glaciers at 19000 feet in a totally different part of the world I’m just getting to know. The outdoors often calls out me to climb and hike; it is analogous to how I make my way in real life.

On a serious note, writers are voices, and I hope my voice will nudge someone or something in a positive direction.

Sometimes the world needs upstanders and not bystanders.
